Panadería Guatemalteca La Bendición was born from a simple conviction: that the bread of your childhood deserves a home wherever you are. Our recipes traveled from the highlands of Guatemala to Brooklyn, and they haven't changed — not really.
We still shape every concha by hand. We still steep our café de olla in a clay pot. We still believe that the best thing about a bakery isn't just what it smells like — it's the feeling that someone you love made this for you.
We're proud to be a gathering place for Guatemalan families in Brooklyn, and just as proud when our regulars tell us our pan dulce reminds them of their abuela's kitchen. That's the blessing we call La Bendición.
